Job description

A fast growing, dynamic and international company is looking for a full time Procurement Assistant:

 

The successful candidate will:

·        monitor overseas production schedules; issue and expedite all purchase orders with existing vendors

·        review courier bills, invoices and packing lists from vendors; have them make necessary corrections if needed. 

·        communicate and follow up all necessary information with custom brokers/freight agents on shipment clearance and delivery schedule  

·        audit and evaluate current supplier base and material sourcing, identify and pre-screen alternative suppliers when necessary, establish and maintain new supplier relationships, and engage in supplier development when required.

·        source & order samples and production parts for new product development.  

·        Any other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager

 

Qualifications:

·        College or a degree in business, supply chain, accounting or other related fields.

·        Good command of verbal and written English skills

·        Excellent Mandarin skills

·        Ability to work with a flexible daily schedule, adapting working hours to meet communication schedules of overseas vendors 

·        Experience in (international) sourcing, tariff, inventory, project / supply chain management will be an added advantage.
