The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team: 

The Enterprise Services Business Solutions (ESBS) Organization is a shared service across RTX. These services include payroll, accounts payable, travel and expense, accounts receivable, procurement, records management, accounting, and more, all aimed at supporting the core operations of RTX.  We currently have multiple projects focused on Procurement and Program Services. To support these initiatives, ESBS is seeking a Portfolio Lead to join our PMO/Transformation Organization. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of collaborating with various functional teams. They will also need strong communication skills to effectively provide management with updates on status, risks, and mitigation plans.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the execution of project management activities, including project schedules, key decisions, resource allocation, financials, requirements, issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Address complex issues and challenges within projects, including tactful executive escalations and driving critical decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Process Owner and Business Relationship Manager (BRM).
  • Assist PMO Director with capital projects submittals and working with leadership on project prioritization.
  • Develop compelling materials to communicate the project's value delivery story clearly and effectively to senior and executive leaders.
  • Build trust and foster collaborative relationships with digital and functional executive sponsors, ensuring alignment with their strategic interests and viewpoints.
  • Travel ~20% within US

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
  • 7+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs, preferably within Procurement, Supply Chain, or Enterprise Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing procurement technology implementations, including end‑to‑end deployments from requirements gathering through testing, go‑live, and stabilization.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and knowledge of how PLM integrates with procurement, supply management, and materials processes.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a government, aerospace/defense, or other highly regulated industry with complex procurement, contracting, and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to procurement and supplier management in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with procurement‑related audits, controls, and compliance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to create polished, executive‑ready presentations that clearly communicate program insights, status, risks, and value.
  • Experience influencing senior leaders and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups in matrixed organizations.
  • Strong change‑leadership capability, including preparing organizations for new processes, systems, and governance models.
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviors such as driving results, instilling trust, collaborating effectively, maintaining customer focus, and operating with strategic vision.
  • Experience working in large, complex corporate environments with multi‑year transformation roadmaps or portfolios.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
