Job Description: -

  • Ensure contract management activities for all IT procurement are undertaken timely with internal/external teams
  • Provide oversight and project management
  • Make acquisition of products/services/technical staff in accordance with state laws and Information Technology Services (ITS) procurement guidelines
  • Research, evaluate and acquire products based on need and solution desired
  • Create Request for Proposals (RFPs) by following the procurement guidelines for the RFP process
  • Create other solicitations to acquire goods and services
  • Review/score proposals, bids and quote
  • Analyze information to determine the best products and services for the Agency's

needs

  • Partner with ITS to obtain oversight and leadership on various IT projects
  • Communicate with the internal user community
  • Communicate with the external vendor community and potential vendors


Required Skills/Experience: -

  • Experience in gathering, documenting and communicating business requirements and/or user stories -10+ Years
  • Defining and documenting business requirements, user stories, processes and workflows -10+ Years
  • Experience with organizing project teams and work plans for multiple projects - 10+ Years
  • Experience as a business analyst and/or project manager - 10+ Years
  • Experience working in State Government -10+ Years
  • Experience creating solicitations to acquire IT software and services 10+ Years
