Responsible for overseeing the daily drop ship procurement activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for O&P patient needs. Supervises a team of procurement specialists focus on coordinating with vendors, updating system records and resolving order issues. Emphasis is placed on the accurate and efficient execution of drop ship workflows and alignment with operational and clinical priorities.


  • Manage and monitor daily drop ship procurement activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to patients and clinics.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve daily, pricing discrepancies, or product availability issues related to drop ship orders.
  • Ensure system records are accurate and up to date (Item master, example discontinued products)
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to procurement specialists on order entry, troubleshooting system, and vendor communications.
  • Maintain documented records for audit purposes related to purchase orders and drop trips transactions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between internal department and suppliers for drop ship related escalations.
  • Support compliance with internal procurement procedures and quality standards specific to O&P product categories.

  • 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Management or Procurement function
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures. 

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field of study

  • Familiarity with O&P products, vendors, and fulfillment requirements.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills (both oral and written) with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and order processing and system updates.
  • Working knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (example: Oracle) preferred.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare supply environment
  • Sound data analysis, data management, and quantitative skills.
  • Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.
