Job Location: Northampton, MA

Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off   

Job Description:

The Supply Chain Management position supports purchasing and sourcing activities by assisting with supplier pricing, material procurement, and order coordination. Helps monitor purchase orders, resolve routine discrepancies, and work with internal teams and suppliers to support timely delivery and overall supply needs. Contributes to supplier management and procurement processes while following applicable company requirements and regulatory guidelines. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Supporting submission RFQ's to suppliers to develop CML (Consolidated Material Lists) pricing 

  • Supporting procure material, equipment, supplies, services, and commodity products of low to medium value and medium to high volume  

  • Supporting negotiate price, delivery and quality of products/services and determine supplier selections  

  • Track all Purchase Orders through reports, work matched exceptions, open commitments, receiving discrepancies, returns, supplier discrepancies, and problem reports/supplier corrective action responses  

  • Interface with receiving and accounting to resolve issues  

  • Confer with suppliers to determine factors that affect competitive total cost of ownership consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules  

  • Interpret FAR/DFAR/ITAR laws, rules and regulations regarding import/export control certifications and licenses 

Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management or related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong interest in government procurement, federal acquisition, or defense supply chain management
  • Excel VBA or Power BI (a plus)
  • Proficieny with Microsoft Excel i.e, pivot tables, formulas, basic data modeling.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Costpoint is a plus
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $20.50 - $41.00. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $18.00 - $36.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
