Procurement Specialist, Mid
The Opportunity:
Responsible for planning and executing procurement actions, conducting source selections, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and internal company policies. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Research and negotiate major organizational contracts and procurements. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with procurement or direct purchasing in federal government contracting
  • Experience evaluating requirements for hardware and software procurements in support of government prime contracts, including FAR and DFARS flow-downs, special requirements, and performance work statements
  • Experience establishing CPSR-compliant procurement files greater than $350,000, including small business subcontracting plans, cost accounting standards, and the Truth in Negotiation Act
  • Experience evaluating and negotiating terms and conditions to identify and mitigate risk based on purchase order award type, commodity, and anticipated award value
  • Experience performing price analysis and document fair and reasonable pricing determination
  • Experience evaluating statements of work or bills of materials for completeness
  • Experience delivering training on contract requirements and procurement processes
  • Experience evaluating source justifications to ensure compliance with the procurement award type
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize based on demand of requirements or workload
  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
