Procurement Analyst

Job Overview:   We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support the procurement process across multiple industries. This role involves building strong supplier relationships, conducting market analysis, negotiating pricing and terms, and managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to ensure cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for cost-saving opportunities, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Monitor market trends and tools regularly to make informed purchasing decisions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Perform in-depth market and data analysis to inform procurement strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and conditions with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs and secure favorable agreements.
  • Lead the RFP process, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure competitive bids and efficient execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with procurement standards.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics roles.
  • 2+ years of experience managing client relationships or direct client contact.
  • Experience in government procurement or working with public sector clients is a plus.
