Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Indirect Procurement Intern to support our procurement team in managing the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management of goods and services not directly used in the manufacturing of our products. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment and contribute to real-world procurement projects. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in supply chain, business, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Sourcing Activities: Assist in the research and identification of potential suppliers, and prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs).

  • Vendor Management: Help maintain vendor databases, track supplier performance, and assist with onboarding new vendors.

  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency. This may include analyzing spend data, purchase orders, and market trends.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of new procurement processes and policies to streamline operations.

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the procurement team, including managing documentation, filing, and scheduling meetings.

  • Project Participation: Participate in special projects as needed, such as sustainability initiatives, process automation, or strategic sourcing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and take initiative.
