Project Development & Finance Associate (2+ Years) – Energy & Infrastructure

Direct Counsel represents a well-regarded Am Law firm seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its leading Project Development & Finance practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile energy and infrastructure projects alongside top-tier sponsors and developers across global markets.

The team is one of the most active in the world, advising on complex, large-scale projects across sectors including energy, renewables, and infrastructure. This role offers hands-on experience in sophisticated project development work within a collaborative, high-performing environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Draft and negotiate engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts
  • Advise project sponsors, owners, and developers on major energy and infrastructure projects
  • Support project development and financing transactions across domestic and international markets
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-value deals

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in project development, construction, or infrastructure transactions
