About the Position: This X-16 position is in the Office of Procurement and Contracts. Seasoned Statewide Procurement professional position accountable for highly complex contract development, analysis, and procurement work for the state. Employees are responsible for negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers; preparing Invitations for Bid and/or Requests for Proposals; and presenting procurement information to the Board for contract approval. At this level, employees act as a lead worker accountable for training and monitoring the work of lower-level procurement staff.
