We are seeking a State Procurement Agency Administrator to join our team. This role will involve supporting procurement operations by performing essential administrative tasks, reviewing contracts for compliance, and assisting requestors by resolving procurement-related issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement support, contract management, ticketing systems, and customer service, along with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

Duration: 9 Months Contract (with possible extension)
 

Job Description:
 
The State Procurement Agency Administrator will play a key role in supporting procurement processes by performing critical administrative tasks and providing resolution support to internal stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct basic contract reviews to identify and address Personally Identifiable Information (PII) concerns
  • Prepare and post contracts, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and related documentation to online procurement platforms in accordance with agency standards
  • Manage support tickets and phone inquiries by assessing, researching, and resolving procurement-related issues
  • Collaborate with requestors to provide guidance and solutions related to procurement processes
  • Maintain accurate and organized records while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and timelines
  • Provide high-quality customer service and clear communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform research and troubleshooting to assist with data clean-up and ensure contract data quality
  • Support procurement teams by identifying issues and recommending practical solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, contract administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with ticketing systems or customer service platforms
  • Knowledge of state procurement policies and procedures
  • Degree or coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing contracts for PII or sensitive data
  • Excellent problem-solving, research, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in legal studies
  • Experience working with ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft v9.2 (template creation, inventory module, item catalog management)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
