Job Description Summary
The Manager of Procurement, focused on Corporate Services, is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and category management across ~$120+ million in Corporate Services spend, including, but not limited to, Marketing, Knowledge & Insights, Labor, and Health Benefits.
This role will serve as the critical contributor to Procurement by supporting alignment with stakeholders & leadership across Lamb Weston functions to accomplish the company's unique business needs. The Manager will develop & execute sourcing strategies and processes across Lamb Weston's corporate spend while performing deep market + analytics research to provide expertise to the business. They will analyze business proposals, develop negotiation strategies & lead contract negotiations.
In addition, the Manager will be tasked with acting as a change agent, advancing procurement capabilities & driving strategic sourcing from a company-wide perspective. The role is expected to improve procurement procedures & processes. The successful candidate will possess tremendous people skills & the ability to interface at all levels of the company.
Job Description
  • Operate as a self-starter will full ownership of assigned categories and ~$80m+ "book of business", proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and value creation initiatives
  • Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management (sourcing, negotiation, execution, and renewals) to ensure commercial, legal, and service optimization.
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies that deliver measurable cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation across the supplier portfolio
  • Drive independent decision making and prioritize competing business needs while maintaining alignment with the enterprise procurement strategy
  • Establish and manage supplier performance through KPIs, business reviews, and continuous improvement
  • Own financial outcomes for categories, including budget, cost savings, cost avoidance
  • Collaborating with executives/internal stakeholders to improve procurement strategies
  • Elevating Procurement's status as a trusted partner in Lamb Weston through customer centricity
  • Consulting with Legal to enable negotiation of contracts in an efficient & effective manner
  • Contributing procurement performance & inflationary targets as part of annual planning cycle

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required, Masters in a business-related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement with direct experience in Corporate Services
  • Demonstrated management capabilities, especially related to assigned categories, driving performance, leading change efforts & producing sustainable results
  • Experience in transformation & continuous improvement of procurement
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP & related systems including, but not limited to SAP Ariba & SAP Concur
  • Possess the ability & knowledge to negotiate, manage & enforce procurement agreements
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate productively with cross-functional, cross-geographical teams
  • Capability to operate in uncertain environments & deliver under pressure
  • Natural influencer & persuasive at all levels of the business
  • Experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry a plus

Pay Rate or Range: $117,060.00 - $175,600.00
