About this RoleThe Document Control Specialist will facilitate the receipt, retention and distribution of all drawings, documents and official correspondence between the QISG team, their clients and vendors.
What You'll Do- With the Procore Administrator, coordinate account access to the document control system for both internal and external users and train new users
- Setup Procore Submittals as outlined in contract documents
- Maintain distribution list of responsible parties for various stages of document review process
- Assign workflow to responsible parties to review vendor documents within Procore or other document control systems
- After review and return, expedite a response from the vendor as needed
- Ensure revisions of documents stay in sync between Client, QISG team and vendor
- File appropriate documentation for final job books within Procore or other document control programs
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned or requested
- Coordinate document delivery to meet project schedule and working with Project team/Procurement Lead to ensure the need by dates of documents meet schedules for engineering/manufacturing/construction.
- Identify and escalate supplier/contract documentation clashes to Project Team and Procurement Lead.
Required Experience and Education
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Competency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy
Preferred Experience and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant field
- 2 years' experience as Document Control Specialist within the transmission/distribution space
- Experience with Procore or other Document Control software

- Self-starter who can work independently while supporting the needs of the team
