ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Utility Operator to support operations in our Recycling division in Clinton, MD. A Utility Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment and utility machinery within the recycling division to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. Performs routine inspections, basic maintenance, and process adjustments while supporting production goals and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Safely operate heavy equipment and utility machinery to support daily recycling division operations
  • Ensure continuous and efficient material processing to meet production targets
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and identify mechanical or safety issues early
  • Support preventive maintenance activities to reduce downtime and equipment failures
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and company regulations
  • Assist in sorting, handling, and processing recyclable materials accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment across all operational areas
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and operational efficiency
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting recyclable materials as needed

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
