Job Title: Tax Processor/Administrator

Location: Boca Raton, Florida (This position requires on-site presence, 5 days a week, ensuring seamless collaboration with team members and efficient handling of tax-related tasks)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80,000 annually, in addition to a compensation package that includes paid overtime and comprehensive benefits.

About the Role:

Boca Raton, Florida-based CPA firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Processor/Administrator to join our office. This is an onsite position, 5 days a week, supporting tax partners and accountants in a fast-paced, professional environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and has prior experience in a Public Accounting office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Tax Partners, including calendar management and scheduling client meetings (in-person, phone, or virtual).
  • Process and prepare client deliverables, including tax returns, organizers, extensions, engagement letters, and correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients regarding documentation requests and general questions.
  • Assist with general office duties such as ordering supplies, distributing mail, answering phones, scanning, and faxing.
  • Maintain client databases and support the onboarding of new clients.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of administrative and tax processing experience at a CPA firm or public accounting firm.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PDF, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of tax software and practice management programs, including:

  • Willingness to travel to the post office, grocery store, and restaurants as needed.
