Their main goal is to make operations safer, more efficient, higher quality, and more cost-effective.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: General Responsibilities for Process EngineersOwn performance of manufacturing processes in areas/lines of responsibilityEnsure that the equipment in the plant is capable of making product to specification at the rate to meet the production scheduleDevelop and maintain standard work, standard operating procedures and programs for area of responsibilityLead definition of proactive maintenance requirementsSupport daily operational troubleshooting and problem solvingDrive continuous improvement in area of responsibility, leading front line data collection and analysis activities and designing new production processes as necessaryManage cross-functional teams of resources in Engineering/Maintenance, Production Management, Production Supervision, Procurement, and Marketing to identify and implement improvement opportunitiesSupport marketing and new product development in feasibility, costing, developing, and rolling out of new products to manufacturing in area of responsibilityAct as a representative and supporter of the company to those under supervisionProvide feedback/coaching to associates on how to improve performance and increase skills/responsibilitySupport the plant infrastructure systems including Wastewater, Compressed Air, Boilers, Refrigeration, HVAC, ElectricalSupport plant construction projects including vendor oversight, GMP compliance, adherence to project scope.Provide/oversee training to associatesEnsure a safe working environment for associatesRegular weekend work requiredEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree, engineering preferredCross-functional experience (operations, maintenance, materials, procurement, marketing, quality, etc)Has demonstrated personal adaptability and the ability to take ownership of assignments and projects.Salary Range: $75K-$95K with a 5% Target bonus.
