Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience. The Server greets guests with a genuine smile, builds rapport, and ensures an enjoyable, quality dining experience. As a server, you have a significant impact on guest's satisfaction-you bring the fun and set the tone for celebration at every table. You are responsible for exceeding guests' expectations by providing friendly and caring guest service. - Bring your 'A' Game each and every day.
- Anticipate guests' needs and ensure overall experience exceeds expectations
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and sincere smile
- Provide efficient, friendly service to tables within your section, including but not limited to taking orders, answering questions about the menu, following steps of service, bussing and resetting the table, etc.
- Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions
- Ensure all orders arrive in a timely manner
- Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
- Give directions and be a team player
- Successfully complete alcohol awareness training
- Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook
- Complete opening and closing side-work duties where assigned
- Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must be 18+ years of age to apply
- Prior experience serving in a high-volume restaurant, including use of standard and hand-held POS devices.
- Strong level of emotional intelligence and overall self-awareness
- High standards of guest satisfaction
- Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for your location
- Experience safely and effectively transporting food and beverage
- Sense of urgency and ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment
- Safely and effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the venue, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
- Ability to move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and occasionally move and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Work in confined, crowded space with high noise levels and various temperature levels
