Pay will be calculated at a rate of 36% of the total cost per serve, as calculated by county and priority level. Pricing map can be found at https://www.delatorgroup.com/process-serve-pricing-map.


Role Description This is a contract, on-site Process Server role based in Tennessee. The Process Server is responsible for serving legal documents such as summonses, subpoenas, complaints, and other court-related papers to individuals and businesses in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include verifying addresses, planning efficient service routes, documenting all attempts and completed service, and preparing accurate affidavits or proofs of service for court submission. The role also requires communicating professionally with clients and internal team members, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to Delator Group’s standards for safety, ethics, and timeliness. Process Servers may be asked to assist with basic investigative tasks that support successful service and case progress.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Service Processes and practical experience serving legal documents in compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Understanding of Law and Courts, including court procedures and the legal significance of proper service.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting and completing affidavits, proofs of service, and related documentation.
  • Ability to participate in and benefit from Training related to investigative methods, safety protocols, and legal updates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally within the TN.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to interact respectfully with people in diverse circumstances.
