We are hiring a Plant Manager at the Coal City, IL facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on experience leading a manufacturing site that is experiencing significant growth and expanding its capabilities and capacities. This is a tremendous opportunity for the individual to take on the transformation of an existing site and drive organizational and operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities include:
  • Lead all aspects of plant operations.
  • Be a champion of safety to maintain a culture that protects the employees, equipment, and environment.
  • Create and drive accountability to performance metrics with the management team and on the plant floor.
  • Consistently deliver on operational KPIs and develop action plans to close any gaps.
  • Execute the production plan, ensuring that key resources are available on time and balanced to business needs.
  • Ensure products are manufactured on time and in full to meet customers' service targets.
  • Ensure the site meets all quality standards set by customers, certifying agencies, and internal quality management systems.
  • Identify and implement savings opportunities to deliver year-over-year cost reductions.
  • Collaborate on budget development and consistently deliver results that meet or exceed established financial targets.
  • Lead CAPEX planning and execution to drive automation improvements while sustaining facility operations and infrastructure.
  • Lead and develop an adaptable, high-performing team of people leaders focused on delivering results and adapting to changing demands.
  • Establish a cadence of accountability at all levels of the plant.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, R&D, and customers.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Processes, Operational Management, or a similar field
  • Minimum 7+ years of related experience
  • Successful track record of delivering consistent OEE improvements while providing 95%+ on-time, in-full (OTIF) service to customers
  • Experience with lean tools including Kaizen, Six Sigma, continuous flow operations, autonomous and total productive maintenance, workplace organization, people development, and value stream analysis
  • 3+ years of experience using SAP, SPC, and WMS preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $180,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
