Your Role at KIK
We are looking for a strategic hands-on HR Manager to lead HR objectives for our KIK Mars plant. In this role, you will report functionally to the HR Director and partner closely with local Plant Manager to align HR initiatives with operations goals. This position is based out of Mars, PA. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic HR leader with a strong sense of urgency, and talent in guiding supervisors and employees through change and ongoing improvements. Ideally, your skill set will include a well-rounded HR Business Partner background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting Plant Management with performance management, training, discipline, statutory compliance and maintaining positive working relationships. A strong understanding of HR is required to ensure competitive practices and counsel is provided within an appropriate cultural framework that enables an environment of trust and high-quality employee relations of 100+ associates.
What You'll Do
  • Lead all Human Resources activities for the Mars, PA manufacturing facility
  • Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute people strategies that support operational and business objectives
  • Provide coaching and strategic HR guidance to leaders and supervisors on employee relations, performance management, leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, and organizational development
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, recognition, and culture initiatives that support a positive and productive work environment
  • Lead employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and policy interpretation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen talent management processes, including performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, and employee development
  • Develop and implement training programs that enhance leadership capabilities, workforce skills, and operational effectiveness
  • Support recruiting efforts for salaried and hourly positions, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify workforce trends and develop action plans that improve engagement, retention, productivity, and performance
  • Lead the implementation and communication of HR programs, initiatives, and organizational changes
  • Manage salary administration processes and provide guidance on compensation-related decisions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for both employees and leaders while maintaining a strong pulse on organizational health and culture

What You'll Bring
  • Four-year degree (or higher) and Professional Certification preferred
  • 5 or more years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated success managing employee relations, conducting workplace investigations, resolving complex employee issues, and coaching leaders
  • Strong knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, leave administration, workplace accommodations, and workplace safety requirements
  • Experience partnering with plant leadership to drive workforce planning, employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Proven ability to coach and develop frontline supervisors and managers
  • Experience leading performance management, talent development, and succession planning processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage HR data and metrics to drive business decisions
  • Experience supporting organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Recruiting experience across both salaried and hourly populations
  • Highly trusted to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity
  • Proven problem-resolution and decision-making skills with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a goal and results orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR reporting tools
