Security Officer Full Time Visitor Processing

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Processing in Somerville, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a senior residential location.
  • Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access as directed, monitoring entry activity, and maintaining visitor records.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, communication systems, and other assigned front-desk equipment; report unusual activity and security-related concerns to site management.
  • Assist residents and guests with directions, basic information, and access-related requests while maintaining confidentiality and a courteous environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
