Department: Sterile Processing
Work Type: Full Time
Shift: Shift 1/6:00:00 AM to 2:00:00 PM
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $31.15 - $42.04 / hour
Hiring Incentive: $5,000 Sign On Bonus
Summary
Maintains competency in all areas of Sterile Processing (Decontamination, Assembly, Sterilization, Case Pick) and holds and maintains HSPA CRCST or CBSPD certification. Leads the team to deliver high quality and reliable instrumentation to the surgical services customers and patients. Plays a primary role in precepting and team training and acts as a leader and expert resource on the team at all times. Responsible for navigating the flow and priorities of the department to meet the customer needs. Participates in and leads team huddles and idea generation to support continuous improvement and the quality management system and participates in team projects. Assists the SPD site manager in correcting incomplete trays, missing instruments, tray maintenance schedules, standard work audit & coaching, regulatory requirements, and documentation. Assists the SPD site manager in completing or contributing to evaluations, and taking corrective action.
