Job description

The Sterile Processing Supervisor supports the Director of Surgical Services in planning, directing, and coordinating the operations and oversight of all sterile processing activities within the organization to ensure patient safety and surgical readiness. This role provides leadership, technical expertise, and compliance oversight for the acquisition, storage, decontamination, cleaning including high-level and low-level disinfection, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment in accordance with infection and quality control standards, manufacturer instructions, hospital policies, and regulatory standards. The Supervisor will perform duties of the a technician as necessary.
Education/Certification:
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Or Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Certification.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sterile Processing or a related field required.
