Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Surgical Services

Location: Baltimore, MD

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1102.76 - 1157.90

Schedule: 15:00 - 23:30 (D/N)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: 2 years exp required; Trauma Level I and II Experience required; Does not accept first time travelers; CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA; Steam Sterilizer, Washer Disinfector, VPR Low temp sterilization, Medivator: Scope processing, Scope Buddy, Cart Washer; Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled; Weekends: required as scheduled; Floating: may be required within the specialty, other units and sister SRH facilities within scope; On-call: not required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment following established protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital sterilization and safety standards.
  • Assist with scope processing and related tasks as scheduled.
  • Support team members in maintaining workflow during scheduled hours.
