Job description


 

Position:                     Head Start Teacher Assistant

Starting Date:            2026-2027 school year

                                    175 day calendar

Duties:  To assist in the Head Start classrooms by providing individual attention to the children, classroom environment and the teacher to enhance the teaching and learning process.  Assist teacher with overseeing and inventory of classroom supplies, materials, etc.   

Salary Range:

$15.00 per hour depending on experience and education

Hours: 

Mon.-Friday:   8:00-4:00

Qualifications:

1.      High school diploma or equivalent.  Early Childhood experience preferred.

2.      Pre-employment physical and TB skin test is required.

3.      Background check required
