Responsibilities

The Maintenance Supervisor is part of the Facilities & Maintenance Team. This is a full-time, exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):

  • Supervise and oversee day-to-day operations of the maintenance staff, ensuring work is done safely, correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Lead and assist trouble shooting complex electrical/mechanical systems to identify problems.
  • Train and develop team members in the maintenance department. Conduct daily meetings with team members to promote communication.
  • Maintain frequent communications pertaining to repairs and projects with several departments (Safety, Environmental, Production).
  • Create work orders and collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and schedule maintenance work using a CMMS system.
  • Develop, implement, and review regular facility and equipment maintenance to ensure all health and safety regulations / requirements are met.
  • Ensures that preventative maintenance is scheduled and completed to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contactors as needed.
  • Ensures a disciplined and safe work environment.

  • High school diploma is required, bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisor or management experience in a manufacturing environment is required, specifically maintenance.

Compensation

This position is full-time, exempt. Compensation typically follows industry median for Northeast Ohio/the Great Lakes region. You may be eligible for an annual bonus. This is a long-term, high accountability role.
