How You Will Make an Impact

As the Process Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for daily oversight of sand production. This requires excellent attention to detail, high communication with field counterparts, excellent analytical skills and a curiosity for automation and programming.

**Onsite at our Austin, TX Office!

** Working a 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00 AM-6:00 PM and 6:00 PM-6:00 AM) on a 7-days-on/7-days-off rotation, completing two consecutive day-shift rotations followed by two consecutive night-shift rotations in a repeating cycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day-to-day oversight of manufacturing operations
  • Document and track equipment downtime
  • Consistent and meaningful communication with field personnel
  • Monitor quality and inline process trends, document and escalate deviations
  • Support field personnel by starting/stopping equipment, provide process data, and assist in troubleshooting
  • Process Improvement recommendations through statistical analysis and trend monitoring
  • Prepare and maintain daily production reports of Wet and Dry plant
  • Work closely with Maintenance Department to ensure continuous and safe operations
  • Adhere to all Atlas Energy and MSHA standards
  • Travel up to 10% to West Texas
  • Recommend changes in standards and procedures to improve production and performance
Minimum Qualifications
  • Technical/Associate Degree in Automation, Electrical or electro-mechanical, or related degree
  • Recent experience (professional or academic) with Industrial Systems
  • Must be able to work a 12-hour schedule with monthly rotation of days and nights
