This is a first shift position working a 4/10 schedule(Monday through Thursday), occasional OT.

Responsibilities as a Select Solder Process tech:
  • Provide production support in Select Solder cell. Operate Select solder machine, perform daily maintenance, verify results from the machine and perform solder rework as needed.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the select solder process, provide feedback on process performance, work with engineers to troubleshoot and improve the process.

This position will be posted for at least 5 calendar days. The posting will remain active until the position is filled, or a qualified pool of candidates is identified.
Required Skills and Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment operating select solder or wave machine
  • Ability to follow process based on written instruction.
  • Ability to operate and maintain select solder/wave machine.
  • Ability to inspect boards per IPC-610.
  • Ability to perform solder rework under microscope.
  • Ability to obtain appropriate workmanship certifications to applicable standards (J-STD, IPC-A-610)
  • Must exhibit initiative and leadership skills necessary to collaboratively prioritize and adapt to best support business critical needs
  • Familiar with lean concept to minimize waste and demonstrate continuous improvement mindset.
