Job description

Schedule: Flexible hours and days off
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR ASSISTANT MGR DELIVERY PROCESSING:
  • Assign daily tasks to staff
  • Create schedules for staff
  • Pull reports as needed
  • Prepare delivery tickets
  • Address and resolve escalated customer complaints in a timely manner
  • Note comments on the ticket
  • If any ticket has a credit hold, get with the manager to care of the balance
  • Dispatch drivers and invoice tickets as stops are called in
  • Upload same day deliveries for warehouse
  • Run special orders report and make calls as necessary
  • Oversee Delivery Processing staff when Corp. Delv. Process Mgr is not present
  • Other duties as requested by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR ASSISTANT MGR DELIVERY PROCESSING: Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; operate computer equipment and programs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment and safety procedures. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver's license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
Work Environment: Indoor climate controlled environment.
