By collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams, they help reduce failures, optimize productivity, and maintain quality standards. Their work is crucial for minimizing costs and ensuring that production targets are met safely and reliably.

Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills help drive cross-functional teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement. These skills are crucial to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and optimize operational efficiency within complex production environments.

How does a process reliability manager typically collaborate with maintenance and production teams to achieve operational goals?

A Process Reliability Manager works closely with both maintenance and production teams to identify areas of improvement in equipment reliability and process efficiency. We need a results-driven and hands-on Maintenance & Reliability Consultant to provide immediate, impactful support to our client’s maintenance team. Responsibilities

  • Focus on driving improvements and executing the necessary steps to enhance maintenance and reliability.
  • Work directly with the maintenance supervisors and mechanics to ensure work orders are processed correctly, executed and that the team is focused on the right priorities.
  • Partner with client leadership to take immediate action on known issues, rather than conducting further assessments.
  • Provide hands-on support, leveraging a strong mechanical or electrical background to be part of the solution and action on necessary improvements.
  • Systematically go through equipment to update PM programs and ensure corrective maintenance is completed.
  • Collaborate with OEMs to gather information and evaluate equipment as needed.
  • Follow up with the team to ensure tasks are implemented and evaluate the work performed by mechanics to ensure quality and completeness.

  • Integrate with the broader plant team, including the plant manager, quality, and operations, to ensure maintenance is functioning as an effective service organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role with a strong track record of driving change and delivering results.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, take charge, and make decisions to "just make this thing happen."
  • Experience in improving and implementing PM programs.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
