Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning with a strong focus on safety, partnering with site safety teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and lead regular coordination and reporting meetings
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, objectives, and performance standards
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, and profitability
  • Oversee subcontractor coordination, including weekly meetings and performance tracking
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontracts and change orders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor agreements and regulatory requirements
  • Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues
  • Manage project closeout processes to ensure smooth and timely completion
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in heavy industrial construction project management
  • Proven ability to manage all aspects of a project including safety, schedule, cost, and quality
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in manufacturing, automotive, or power & energy sectors preferred
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Autodesk Build, and Viewpoint Vista
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and construction processes
