Position Summary

Pyrovio is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead enterprise application initiatives for electric energy industry clients. This role focuses on the successful delivery of system implementations, application enhancements, integrations, and business process transformation projects. The ideal candidate is a strong Agile practitioner with proven experience managing software delivery teams, leveraging Azure DevOps, and coordinating business, technical, and vendor stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise application implementation, integration, and modernization projects from initiation through deployment.

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.

Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver business value.

Use Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage work items, user stories, sprint plans, roadmaps, reporting, and delivery metrics.

Coordinate system integration, data migration, testing, deployment, and transition-to-support activities.

Drive requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, issue resolution, and executive communications.

Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of IT project management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.

Proven experience delivering software implementation, application modernization, and systems integration projects.

Strong Agile project delivery experience within Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid environments.

Demonstrated hands-on experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps for planning, tracking, reporting, and managing software delivery lifecycles.

Experience managing cross-functional teams consisting of business stakeholders, developers, architects, quality assurance resources, and vendors.

Strong understanding of SDLC, requirements management, user story development, UAT, data migration, systems integration, API/web service integrations, change management, and deployment planning.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting electric utility, energy, or other regulated industry clients.

Experience working within product operating models and Agile delivery organizations.

Familiarity with platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Hexagon/Octave, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, or other enterprise SaaS solutions.

PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or similar certifications.
