Job description

Our client is a leading designer and builder of custom processequipment systems used across regulated and highperformance manufacturing sectors. They deliver fully engineered, fabricated, tested and commissioned systems that support biotech, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, personal care and other advanced production environments. This is a handson engineering role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, coordinating multidisciplinary work, and seeing their designs become operating equipment.

The Opportunity As a Process Engineer / Project Manager, you will lead custom processequipment projects through the full designbuilddeliver cycle. You'll own process design, project coordination and client communication, ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time and aligned with project requirements. You'll work directly with clients and lead internal teams across process, mechanical, electrical and automation design, fabrication, testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities Process Design & Technical Leadership Develop conceptual and detailed process designs for custom fluidprocess systems. Create process descriptions, flow diagrams, P&IDs and equipment specifications. Perform massbalance, heattransfer, hydraulic and thermodynamic calculations.

Specify major equipment, valves, instruments, piping and utility requirements. Provide technical input to mechanical, electrical and automation design. Lead technical reviews and ensure compliance with safety, code and quality standards.

Project Leadership & Client Management Champion projects from concept through fabrication, testing and commissioning. Establish priorities, coordinate resources and maintain project momentum. Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to resolve technical and commercial issues.

Track scope, schedule, budget, risks and decisions; escalate concerns early. Manage vendors and subcontractors, including scope, deliverables and performance. Fabrication, Testing & Commissioning Support fabrication teams to ensure design intent is achieved.

Respond to shopfloor questions and resolve constructability issues. Plan and participate in factory acceptance testing and onsite equipment testing. Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and validation.

Capture lessons learned to improve future designs and project execution. Requirements Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. P.Eng registration in Ontario or eligibility

Experience in processsystem design, equipment design or project engineering. Ability to apply engineering fundamentals to practical design challenges. Strong projectmanagement, organizational and prioritization skills.

Clear communication skills and confidence working with clients, vendors and trades. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the regions served.
