Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced manufacturing leader to oversee engineering support for production operations, drive process improvements, and help ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance, support new product introductions, and develop scalable processes that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead manufacturing engineering activities to support production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Partner with operations, quality, supply chain, maintenance, and product development teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Oversee process validation, root cause analysis, and corrective action efforts for manufacturing-related challenges.
  • Support new product introduction and ensure smooth transition from design to production.
  • Evaluate equipment, fixtures, layouts, and automation opportunities to improve throughput and reliability.
  • Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, yield, and cycle time.
  • Lead and mentor engineering staff, providing guidance, development, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety practices.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership on engineering and production initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar technical leadership role.
  • Proven experience improving production processes, supporting manufacturing operations, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and process optimization methods.
  • Experience with new product introduction, equipment implementation, or manufacturing scale-up preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and support team members.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
