What Part Will You Play?

  • Engage with existing clients to understand their specific payment needs and demonstrate how our payment solutions, including virtual card adoption, can most benefit them and their suppliers
  • Drive client adoption, growth, retention, and the overall success of clients' payment programs
  • Provide payments subject matter expertise during client engagements
  • Conduct spend analysis of clients' supplier files, and consult with clients on supplier enablement strategies based upon this analysis and industry best practices
  • Develop and execute customers' supplier enablement campaigns
  • Coordinate supplier outreach with our in-house supplier onboarding team
  • Facilitate direct outreach to key strategic suppliers as necessary
  • Manage communication with clients on campaign progress and outcomes
  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure a positive client and supplier experience
  • Critically evaluate the business processes related to the role, and suggest improvements where needed
  • Other duties as required to support MineralTree and our customers' success

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, etc.; Combination of relevant training and/ or experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience in client facing roles and/or financial industry.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
5+ years of experience in commercial credit card, virtual card, b2b payments, financial services, or merchant services, in a client management or sales capacity

Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets, sales and client retention goals

Accomplished client relationship manager or sales executive in the B2B payments sector

Strong sales acumen, including selling value and overcoming objections with finesse

Excellent client-facing presentation skills

Exceptional written and oral communication skills

High degree of energy and self-motivation

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously

Demonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, take initiative, and drive results

Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness

High standards of integrity

Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
