Job description

Director, Bl Testing Process Optimization And Automation

We are seeking an ambitious, automation-first leader who can identify high-impact opportunities and deliver reliable and scalable automations through robotic process automation, agentic AI, and workflow automation. In this role, you will lead the BL Testing team in defining and executing the Automation Roadmap. You will partner closely with the broader BL Process Optimization and Automation organization to automate existing routines, streamline end-to-end workflows, and uncover new opportunities to drive incremental value through optimization and intelligent automation.

Ally Work locations for this role are Detroit, MI, Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, Cranberry Twp, PA, Downers Grove, IL, Lewisville, TX, Little Rock, AR, or Plano, TX. At this time, Ally will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

The Work Itself:

  • Own and evolve the Automation Roadmap, driving clear milestones and measurable progress.
  • Partner with the broader BL Testing team to identify, prioritize, and deliver automation opportunities across key workflows.
  • Collaborate with the BL Process Optimization and Automation organization to identify and implement the most effective automation tools, and lead implementation for BL Testing.
  • Develop concise executive-ready PowerPoint updates that clearly communicate roadmap status, outcomes, risks, and next steps.
  • Define automation strategy, scope, and success metrics; ensure alignment to business priorities.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and change management to support adoption.

Base Pay Range: $125000 - $190000 USD An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
