Job description

We are looking for a Full Time Industrial Hygienist/Safety Specialist to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with ESH project management and coordination
  • Conduct industrial hygiene sampling and surveys, including:
  • Asbestos inspections and sampling
  • Indoor air quality assessments
  • Water quality sampling
  • Support environmental and food safety inspections at client sites
  • Collect, document, and manage environmental and IH data accurately
  • Assist in preparation of technical reports, summaries, and findings
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) regulations
  • Maintain and calibrate field equipment and sampling tools
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project managers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Environmental Science
    • Environmental Health & Safety
    • Industrial Hygiene
    • Or a closely related field

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Internship or academic exposure to:
    • Environmental fieldwork or inspections
    • Industrial hygiene or sampling

Familiarity with:

  • OSHA regulations
  • MDE requirements and environmental compliance standards
  • Asbestos, air, or water sampling methodologies
  • Experience with environmental monitoring equipment (preferred but not required)

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
