- Perform light maintenance and prepare equipment to enable others to safely perform maintenance
- Safe product loading of tank wagons and railcars
- Analytical procedures required for process and quality control, performance monitoring and environmental compliance are performed by BDO Operating Specialists
- Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot process and equipment issues
- Utilization of a distributed control system to monitor and adjust the process
- Willingness to work a rotating seven day per week schedule in all weather conditions
- Ability to understand how systems work
- Ability to respond to emergency situations within the limits of training and qualifications
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and wear respiratory protection
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
- 3 years' experience in an operating environment
- 5 years' experience in a petrochemical operating environment
