Role Overview

The Production Operator I supports manufacturing operations by operating production equipment and performing hands-on tasks to ensure efficient and safe product output. This role contributes to consistent product quality by following established procedures, handling materials, and supporting routine production activities. The position plays a critical role in maintaining safe, organized, and compliant production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production equipment and perform manufacturing tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures.

  • Handle and move raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods to support production flow.

  • Monitor production processes, perform basic measurements, and collect samples to support quality requirements.

  • Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safe operation.

  • Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety standards, including proper use of required PPE, and report issues or deviations.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks throughout a shift.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment while complying with safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Experience working within established safety, quality, or regulatory standards.

  • Familiarity with material handling processes or basic production equipment.
