Job Summary:

The Finance Manager, Advertising & Promotional (A&P) Business and Process plays a key role supporting one of the most essential cross-functional activities in the company: A&P spend planning, monitoring, and analysis. As the A&P business and process owner, this role will focus on enhancing the A&P system, simplifying A&P-related processes, and improving data quality to enable data-driven decisions. You will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Information Technology to prioritize enhancements and remove roadblocks for end users. This role reports to the Director, A&P and Market Performance.

Who will love this job:

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys being the "go-to" finance partner for systems, process, and data. You're energized by improving how work gets done-simplifying workflows, raising data quality, and making tools easier for teams to use. You're confident building relationships across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Information Technology, and you can balance competing priorities to drive the right outcomes. You bring a structured, project-oriented approach and follow through-especially during testing, rollouts, and change management.

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the A&P systems expert from a finance lens by maintaining and enhancing the A&P system, ensuring it meets end-user needs and supports business planning and reporting.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Information Technology to control and prioritize enhancements based on business needs and teams' roadblocks for continuous tool and data improvement.

  • Secure funds and resources for system implementations, qualification, and validation, and coordinate inputs needed to move initiatives forward.

  • Project manage enhancement development and testing (including leading User Acceptance Testing) to ensure enhancements are delivered on time, work as intended, and align with strategic intent.

  • Own change management related to enhancements and system updates, including communications, adoption support, and ensuring teams are ready for changes.

  • Support A&P business planning and process activities by building and maintaining the A&P planning template with key stakeholders, ensuring data quality and consistency with brand/market/touchpoint strategy.

  • Enable business users day-to-day by acting as the subject matter expert for budget maintenance, invoicing, purchase orders, and reporting, and by leading weekly A&PO Office Hours to troubleshoot issues.

  • Maintain documentation and training by keeping A&P materials up-to-date and ensuring ongoing training for users and new hires on systems, governance, and ways of working.

  • Partner with global teams to ensure alignment on taxonomy, strategic intent, and best practices.
