Job description

Basic Function of the Job:

  • Support wafer and chip production in all areas of the Semiconductor Fab, focusing on chip pick and place. Additional responsibilities include: prepare materials for shipment to customers, assist with general maintenance in the Fab, and assist in waste water treatment operations and hazardous waste management. 

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Experience with networked PC based computer system

Skills

  • Must be able to handle small (mm size) die with tweezers with precision

  • Previous experience in semiconductor die/chip handling highly desirable, but not necessary

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and comfortable with working on microscope-based tasks

  • Attention to details

  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from the supervisor on specific tasks

  • Work with a high standard of ethics, professionalism, and competence

  • Ability to keep the workplace safe, clean, and orderly

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Basic level of skills in MS Word and MS Excel

Working Conditions
