Job description

Process Technician


We are seeking Process Technicians responsible for setting up, monitoring, and optimizing plastic injections and blow molding machinery. This role ensures automated production lines run smoothly, safely, and meet strict quality and food-safety (SQF) specifications.


Key Responsibilities

· Machine Setup and Tooling: Installing molds, setting up auxiliary equipment, and establishing correct process parameters on injection or blow molding machines.

· Process Optimization: Monitoring the production line and fine-tuning parameters like temperature, pressure, and cycle times to match the "master process".

· Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, or process-related faults in real time to minimize machine downtime.

· Quality Assurance: Inspecting molded components visually and dimensionally to detect defects, ensuring compliance with strict consumer and medical-grade packaging specifications.


Job Qualifications


· Experience: Requires a minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating and setting up plastics machinery (such as a Setup Mechanic or Production Operator III).

· Technical Skills: Proficiency with blueprint reading, scientific molding principles, and using controlled standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Operational Knowledge: A baseline understanding of continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
