Summary:
The Strategic Sourcing Team drives immense value to ADT's business. This role is responsible for contributing to and managing several hundred million dollars in annual spend spanning across varying sourcing categories with dynamic market landscapes.
As a member of the Strategic Sourcing team, you are responsible for creating and maintaining collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders and strategic vendors. You will build a strong understanding of business requirements and priorities, then work cross-functionally to develop and execute sourcing and vendor management strategies that achieve stakeholder and business objectives, strengthen supplier performance, and mitigate risk.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support business needs and projects across indirect categories including marketing, agency, media, marketing technology services, PR agencies, communications, and event management.
  • Lead marketing-related sourcing initiatives across categories such as paid media, creative and production agencies, PR and communications, influencer and creator platforms, referral and loyalty programs, market research, sponsorships, and marketing technology.
  • Develop category strategies for Marketing stakeholders that balance cost, speed to market, brand impact, supplier innovation, compliance, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Evaluate marketing supplier commercial models, including agency fee structures, rate cards, retainers, project-based pricing, licensing/subscription terms, performance incentives, rebates, media transparency, and usage rights.
  • Partner with Marketing, Legal, Finance, Privacy, Information Security, and business stakeholders to structure RFPs, statements of work, performance metrics, service levels, and contract terms that protect ADT and support campaign execution.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Lead sourcing engagements by partnering with stakeholders to define business requirements, identify potential suppliers, determine suppliers wants, conduct negotiations, and execute contracts that ensure successful delivery of high value outcomes are realized.
  • Manage, analyze, and drive strategic sourcing and supply chain projects and initiatives to include all aspects of strategic sourcing processes that highly impact the business, deliver the best value, and drive process improvement for ADT.
  • Manage sourcing bid events (RFP/RFI) and administer sourcing related tools and sourcing processes.
  • Perform bid proposal analysis, comparison, and overall supplier solutions, services, and technology evaluations. Make recommendations for final supplier selection, influence business owners' sourcing decisions, and obtain business stakeholders buy in.
  • Deliver on supplier relationship and performance management strategies in alignment with Vendor Management team to support supplier performance reviews that highlight success and failure with supplier operational deliverables and execution.
  • Support the development and execution of vendor management governance processes, including vendor segmentation, performance management, accountability mechanisms, and business review cadences for strategic suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned vendors to support high-quality service delivery, contractual compliance, and mutual business success.
  • Track and evaluate vendor performance using KPIs, SLAs, supplier scorecards, and business reviews; identify underperformance, escalate concerns, and coordinate corrective action plans with stakeholders.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and operational teams to align vendor strategies with business objectives and identify cost optimization and value creation opportunities.
  • Identify and help mitigate vendor-related financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks while maintaining accurate records of vendor interactions, contracts, performance metrics, and leadership reporting.
  • Provide consultative thought leadership on new and innovative ways of creating improved workflow, scale, and outcomes of Indirect Sourcing.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, technology, operation management, or a technical field, with at least five years of progressive work experience in Strategic Sourcing and/or Vendor Management.
  • MBA or Master's degree in supply chain management, procurement, technology, operation management, or a technical field preferred.
  • Advanced certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM, CPSC, PMP) preferred.
  • Deep understanding of category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management principles and application.
  • Demonstrated expertise sourcing marketing-related categories, including agency services, paid media, creative production, PR/communications, martech platforms, referral or loyalty programs, market research, and related professional services.
  • Experience leading competitive RFPs and supplier negotiations for Marketing stakeholders, with a strong understanding of marketing operating models, campaign timelines, agency scopes, deliverables, and performance-based commercial structures.
  • Working knowledge of marketing contract considerations such as statements of work, usage rights, data/privacy requirements, confidentiality, intellectual property ownership, service levels, media transparency, rate cards, and supplier performance reporting.
  • Experience supporting vendor management or supplier relationship management programs, including vendor segmentation, performance scorecards, SLA/KPI tracking, business reviews, corrective action management, and vendor risk mitigation.
  • Working knowledge of vendor management systems, reporting tools, and documentation practices used to maintain vendor records, contract information, performance metrics, and leadership-ready reporting.
  • Ability to translate vendor performance data, stakeholder feedback, and contractual commitments into actionable recommendations that improve supplier performance, reduce risk, and create business value.
  • Advanced financial analytical skills and experience in enhancing value through negotiations.
  • Strategic orientation, inquisitive, comfortable with ambiguity, and self-motivated to identify trends and improvement opportunities aligned with business objectives and strategic plans.
  • Ability to build effective relationships, influence peers and key stakeholders, and build consensus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to the given audience and present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to extract key themes, determine root causes, develop creative solutions, and craft concise messages.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask in a flexible, fast-paced, and challenging environment.
