WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Be the face of MCR for new hires and team members; exemplify MCR's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
  • Practice, support and promote the Vision and Mission Statements, and Core Values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).
  • Promote a process centric, lean technology culture.
  • Participate in the development and adoption of the IT governance framework across the IT organization.
  • Contribute to the identification, documentation, development and improvement of IT process re-design and automation utilizing Lean Six-Sigma principals and methods.
  • Support IT initiatives to ensure alignment with IT strategic objectives, business goals, and internal or external compliance requirements.
  • Conduct IT governance assessments to recommend solutions for improved linkages between corporate strategy, IT strategy, and execution.
  • Implement and manage the IT governance monitoring and reporting program, focusing on automation and simplification, while partnering with internal teams to contribute to organization performance and health.
  • Partner with Business Partners to conduct maturity assessments against IT process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns.
  • Create process documentation, workflows, knowledge articles, and self-service guidance for IT governance processes.
  • Develop procedures and training materials to ensure adequate knowledge of IT governance practices and processes.
  • Lead the initial review process for new and existing IT policies, standards, and procedures, working with subject matter experts and compliance to support implementation in line with organizational policy management standards.
  • Assess compliance to IT policy, standards, processes, and procedures to monitor, report, analyze, and remediate IT risk and compliance related obligations.
  • Manage audit finding reporting cycles to IT leadership. Assist internal control owners with root cause analysis and track risk management action plan progress.
  • Promote project management culture, advocating for consistency and uniformity in project management across the organization.
  • Continually update PMO training and reference documentation and drive adoption of standard processes and methods.
  • Enhance and maintain standardized deliverable templates library within the appropriate repository.
  • Create and implement change management framework, facilitate adherence to standards, and serve as the IT change manager that maintains the change control calendar, meeting agendas, and outcomes prior to solution change in production environments (i.e., evaluate technology risks before authorizing the implementation of IT Infrastructure changes to the technology ecosystem).
  • Evaluate project delivery risks and assist in meeting appropriate requirements needed within project documentation to mitigate.
  • Coordinate business and IT readiness to deploy new solutions, identifying gaps, and partnering closely with responsible parties to address critical items.
  • Drive IT audit and compliance process remediation efforts associated within defined business practices, SOP, and solutions that support business objectives.
  • Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • A Bachelor's Degree (Preferred in MIS or Technical Degree). Four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
  • Five (5) years of IT Project Management and or Process Management experience in IT with fact-based qualitative status and quantitative metrics reporting, facilitating, and supporting solution delivery life cycle, managing stakeholders' expectations, and ensuring adherence to IT compliance requirements is a must.
  • Prior experience working with Waterfall methodologies, developing software documentation, performing quality assurance, contributing to governance framework, standard operating procedures (SOP), and reports, identifying and addressing process gaps and clearly communicating results orally and in writing to management, and monitoring change.
  • Previous experience in a casino gaming IT environment is preferred.
  • Business process and or system analysis experience is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma (LSSBB) Black Belt preferred.
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation version 3 Certification preferred.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Additional certifications focused on governance, risk management, compliance, audit, assurance, and information technology may be considered.
