Job description

Executive Assistant Essential Veterinary Partners | Hybrid

About Us

Essential Veterinary Partners (EVP) is a fast-growing veterinary management company dedicated to supporting independent veterinary practices across the country. We are building a lean, high-performing team that moves quickly, thinks strategically, and genuinely cares about the practices and people we serve.

About the Role

We are looking for a smart, driven, and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our CEO, VP of Operations, and VP Controller. This is not a sit-at-your-desk-and-answer-emails kind of role. You will be embedded in the operations of a fast-moving company, touching everything from onboarding new practices to supporting our marketing presence. If you are someone who is hungry to learn, takes initiative without being asked, and wants a front row seat to see how a growing company actually operates, this role was built for you.

We are specifically looking for someone early in their career who is ready to roll up their sleeves, grow fast, and make a real impact. Experience is nice to have but drive and attitude will always win here.

What You Will Do

  • Take ownership of day to day operational and financial tasks handed down from the VP of Operations while also contributing to larger projects as the business grows and evolves
  • Manage and complete administrative applications and documentation on behalf of newly acquired practices during the onboarding process
  • Support financial operations including tracking invoices and assisting with basic financial administrative tasks
  • Assist with social media content posting and client engagement across EVP and practice-level platforms
  • Support marketing initiatives including content scheduling, community engagement, and basic reporting
  • Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for internal and external communications
  • Collaborate with and support other departments during high-volume periods throughout the month
  • Maintain organized records, files, and systems that keep the team operating efficiently
  • Provide direct administrative support to the CEO, VP of Operations, and VP Controller including calendar management, travel booking, and correspondence[VL1]
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and take ownership of problems before they become bigger issues

What We Are Looking For

  • Recent graduate or 1 to 2 years of professional experience in any field
  • Exceptional customer service mindset -- you treat every interaction, internal or external, with professionalism and genuine care
  • Smart, resourceful, and able to figure things out independently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing track of the details
  • Comfortable shifting gears quickly based on the needs of a fast-moving business
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content scheduling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace with a general comfort learning new tools quickly
  • Someone who does not need to be told twice and takes pride in doing things right

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Significant opportunity to grow within a company that is scaling rapidly
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and the inner workings of a multi-site healthcare organization
  • A collaborative team culture where your contributions are seen and valued from day one
