The Opportunity

The Director, HR Process & Governance is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and operationalizing the global HR process strategy. This role ensures end-to-end process excellence across the HR ecosystem, driving standardization, compliance, optimization, and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
The position acts as a critical bridge between HR, HRIS, and IT, championing the adoption of innovative technologies and modern HR practices. This leader will elevate efficiency and employee experience through seamless integration of digital solutions, including ownership of the Oracle HCM Cloud implementation.
Additionally, this role governs the enterprise HR initiative portfolio, ensuring prioritization, alignment to business outcomes, and successful execution of cross-functional projects.

What you will do?

HR Process Strategy & Governance

  • Define and lead the global HR process strategy, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish governance frameworks, standards, and policies for end-to-end HR processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle).
  • Drive process standardization and simplification across geographies and business units.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
  • Implement process performance metrics (KPIs/SLAs) and continuous improvement frameworks.

Process Optimization & Transformation

  • Lead process re-engineering initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and enhance employee experience.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and digitize HR processes using advanced technologies (AI, workflows, self-service platforms).
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.

Technology & Innovation Partnership

  • Partner closely with HRIS and IT to design and implement scalable technology solutions supporting HR processes.
  • Serve as the HR functional lead for technology innovation, ensuring solutions are user-centric and aligned with business needs.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance data integrity, reporting, and decision-making capabilities.

Oracle HCM Implementation Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud, including planning, design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Ensure alignment of system capabilities with standardized HR processes and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee change management, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement during implementation.
  • Ensure long-term optimization and roadmap development post-deployment.

Project Portfolio & Initiative Management

  • Manage the enterprise HR project portfolio (“project stack”), ensuring initiatives align with strategic priorities.
  • Establish governance and prioritization frameworks for HR initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and outcomes to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational outcomes.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with senior HR leadership, business leaders, and functional stakeholders to align priorities and drive execution.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on process excellence, governance, and transformation.
  • Influence organizational change through strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive presence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant focus on HR operations, process design, or transformation.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles managing global or enterprise-wide HR initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale HRIS implementations, preferably Oracle HCM Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in HR end-to-end processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle).
  • Strong understanding of HR governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
