Job description

We are seeking a Process Engineering Senior Manager, to lead a team of engineers responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining advanced manufacturing processes serving aerospace and defense markets. This role is based near Temecula, CA



This role will drive process capability, yield improvement, scrap reduction, and manufacturing efficiency across thin films, coatings, wafer processing, etching, metrology, and advanced materials manufacturing environments



Key Responsibility

  • Lead and develop a team of Process and Engineers supporting production and new product introduction (NP
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield improvement, throughput, cost reduction, and process capabilities
  • ty.Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies and statistical tools including DOE, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, and process validation
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for optical components, photonics products, semiconductor devices, and advanced material
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Program Management to improve manufacturing performance and support new product launch
  • Establish robust process controls and measurement systems to ensure product quality and customer requirements are consistently achieved


Desired Background

  • 10+ years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Development.
  • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Photonics, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Thin Film Deposition, Optical Coatings, Wafer Processing, Wet or Dry Etching. Silicon Carbide (SiC)Strong experience with yield improvement, scrap reduction, DOE, SPC, FMEA, and statistical process control.
