Job description

Our client is really good at managing, storing, and protecting data for customers. Their patented platform uses machine learning-based AI for cyber security and protection against ransomware attacks. It is in very high demand and as a result, business is booming.

We are actively searching to add to this dynamic team and have an open position for a Software Manager. The team develops algorithms and data structures for high-performance software in C on Linux platforms. A new initiative of adding a set of REST APIs to the application is underway.

Qualified candidates will be local to central New Jersey, will have experience leading software engineers on Scrum teams, and be very technical and knowledgeable of C programming language, Linux operating system, and Python.

The ideal individual for this job will have a solid technical background in software development and strong leadership and communication skills. Specific requirements are:

  • Experience in software management or program management in a software development department of a technology-driven company
  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment
  • Extensive experience with the C-Language, preferably on Linux platforms
  • BS or MS degree in a technical discipline is desired
  • Able to work onsite in Monmouth County NJ two days per week
