Flint Hills Resources Pine Bend RefineryinRosemount, MNlocated in theMinneapolis/St. Paul Metro is hiring aProcess Engineer. This role is a position that builds refinery operations knowledge and understanding and application of key engineering fundamentals. These skills will enable further career opportunities in operations engineering, process control, or data analytics, monitoring & troubleshooting.

Our Team

This role will be working on a team of several new engineers of varying engineering disciplines. Each engineer is assigned a series of rotations to provide engineering support to specific parts of the business. This rotation also provides an opportunity for development and career advancement.

Our Rotational Program

Engineers progress through discipline-based rotations supporting the different refinery units and process/mechanical systems onsite. Anticipated timeframe within the Plant Engineering group is roughly one (1) year with rotations in process/operations engineering. Each rotation builds technical capability, operational knowledge, and increasing ownership, preparing engineers for long‑term growth in process engineering roles.

For this role, we anticipate paying $90,000 - $120,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
