Job description

Our Client is seeking a Manufacturing and Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing, engineering, and technical operations in a high-mix EMS environment. This role is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people while improving planning, efficiency, and process discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering and manufacturing teams to support production goals and continuous improvement

  • Improve scheduling, capacity planning, and equipment utilization through ERP/MRP systems

  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, root cause analysis, and operational problem-solving

  • Support new product introduction, DFM/DFT efforts, and customer engineering collaboration

  • Oversee budgets, capital planning, compliance, and departmental performance metrics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field

  • 8-10 years of manufacturing leadership experience in EMS

  • Strong knowledge of SMT, test, box build, and high-mix production environments

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, capacity modeling, and lean manufacturing tools

  • Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills

  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
